We recently lost our 11 year old Cane Corso.  My husband and I booked his last kennel stay at Tail Country Pet Resort.  We wanted him to be as comfortable as possible while we were gone.  When I recently called to cancel his upcoming stay because of his passing.  Barbara was extremely sympathetic.  Just a few days later, we received a heartfelt, handwritten card expressing her condolences along with a beautiful memorial keepsake.  We were very surprised by such a gesture and felt the genuine sadness she felt for the loss of our sweet boy.  When the time is right and we find a new friend, I would think of no other place to board our dog.

Our dogs love Tail Country Pet Resort and so do we! Their daycare and boarding services are superior.  The owners and staff are knowledgeable, professional, and kind.  The facility is extremely clean.  We highly recommend Tail Country!

I contacted Barbara after our dog bite my 5 year old son, she was extremely helpful to us in navigating the situation.  Sadly, our dog needs aggressive behavior training and our vet referred us to a trainer dealing with these types of issues.  We will use Tail Country Pet Resort for boarding once our fur baby is trained properly.  Barbara is honest and compassionate, she does not sugar coat the issue to make you feel better.  Personally, I prefer honesty any day! We have never boarded our two dogs before therefore were a little Apprehensive especially considering our old dog can barely walk.  Barbara and Chad were more than accommodating on helping make our dogs feel at home.  We were able to put both dogs in the same larger room.  I was also able to bring their beds and blankets to make it feel even more like home.  They also went above and beyond and put rugs down the hallway to help give my old girl better traction when going outside for potty breaks.  I can’t say enough great thing about Barbara and Chad and as far as the facility it was immaculate. Thanks for taking such good care of our babies we will definitely be back.

Barbara & her husband have given up so much for the love of dogs.  Our pups recently stayed for 10 days &  we missed Max’s 10 year Birthday  with us.  They went above and beyond to celebrate this important date with Max.  For once, I feel comfortable leaving my dogs in someone else’s care!  A huge relief to have someone in York that honestly cares about our pups!!! Highly recommend.

We were very impressed with the care our pup received while we were away!  The facility is spotless, the staff is friendly and it is obvious that he was in good hands!  I know where Farley will be taking his pawcations from now on!

Tailbanger’s is the only place we would take our dog who is our family. Barbara and Chad have put their hearts and souls into creating a fun, safe and happy resort.  Our dog loves it there and we are always happy to come and pick him up, seeing him so happy!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! This is the only kennel where I have felt completely leaving our German Shepherd.  When I picked him up he was just as excited to see the morning staff that had been taking care of him all week out in the lobby as he was to see me.  He popped his front paws on the counter just to reach them.  That’s a good sign!  He has never been like that at any kennel.

We will not go anywhere else.  Don’t ever hesitate to bring your pup’s here they are awesome! It is clear the staff care about your pets experience.

Not to mention they get hand walked!  The facility is extremely clean, bright, and welcoming.  From the facility to the staff, I can’t say enough positive things about this place.

Thank you for building such a wonderful facility and business.  I can finally feel at ease leaving my pup in anothers care!

Amazing place, amazing staff.  I’ve tried other places before but am set on Tail Country Pet Resort.  The dogs com home smelling good, tire and happy.  Couldn’t ask for much more!  We think the world of Barbara and her staff!

I can’t say enough about the staff.  They care for my dog like he is one of their own. When I drop him off, he is clawing at the door to get inside.  He loves it.  He is always happy and worn out from playing when I pick him up.  I have peace of mind while i am working!!!  Thank you TailBanger’s!!!
